I bet nobody comes here anymore.
Looking back at my 4 years in ahs, i've come to realise that personally, the times I spent in ncc has been the most memorable. First we went through part A camp, left behind memories of kahchon's blue underwear, then after 4 years we laugh at juniors flowery underwear when we took part A camp. Then Part B camp, there was this really strong sense of togetherness between us. When we shave botak, talk cock look at girls. All these simple things that we did together, I miss them all. We could feel so comfortable all together, we didn't have to be self conscious unlike with other people. And the BBQs and outings we had together. Camwhoring like fags but still enjoying ourselves. Racing down the slope on bikes and stuff, there was nothing that we couldn't do together. And there was everything there for us to do when we came together. Like kping people in pasir ris park after YMCA activities.
Then when we went on to part C, we started to split. Drift further in part d. Then I thought to myself, was our friendship all a lie? I prefer to think not. Because I know some people still miss the old times. My heart is heavy at the thought of the last paper on Monday, where we officially will not see each other anymore. I fear that when there are Delta outings nobody would attend, not even the ones who care. I hope that when we come back together, we will still be as strong as the Bravo o'8. I miss you guys man.

After my 4 years in ahsNCC, only my brothers in arms have not faded away with time.

24 of us were fated to meet,
1 left followed by another.
Now we're left with 22 brothers.
We've been through part A camp & part B camp,
we've been through all types of hardships.
After taking over, things changed.
I really want back all 21 of you. Really,
because these 21 brothers did not come by easy.
We quarrel, play, eat, sleep together, but none of us thought we would be drifting apart.
The first thing that we were taught, "One for all, all for one."
Where has this gone to? We did not make an empty promise to yijun, did we?
We promised to stay together, united as one. Remember?
It is still not too late to realise this, but time is running short.
Our NCC life will come to an end in half a year's time.
Should we be glad that it is coming to an end? No.
I know you people might think that I am mad or something.
But I really don't want our part to be like that.
We do not play like how we used to be.
Now people are getting upset of posts and stuffs like power?
The 2 CSM are really stressed up but they will never show it,
because they have to appear strong.
It is not easy for 2 man to lead such a big company.
Why don't we understand them? Even if we cannot help,
I believe they will still appreciate it if we try to understand them more
and showing our support for them, knowing we will always be there for them.
Let's just put our faith in them for they are our leaders and they deserve our respect.
All these may sound nonsensical, but thinking back,
do you think it is worth to lose the faith, trust and respect from our fellow peers
just because of the politics in NCC?

Hi everyone. Long time since i posted here. It is regarding the freestyle drill competition. Cedar girls is a very strong that we will meet in the finals, so everyone please be prepared as we will have at least 2 trainings per week. Cedar Girls' got a total score of 255 points. We will not be changing the formation. We will only be filling in pauses and will be enforcing on precision and co-ordination. I heard from staff Joshua that Cedar will be changing their formation.

The main difference between our performance and theirs is that their co-ordination and precision far surpasses us. Anyone got any good suggestions of drills please email me at chewziqin@hotmail.com or you can bring up at meetings or trainings.

you all just change abit la.

1st day -
meet at morning 10 then we set up stall at the place between tampines mall and century square.
so we started making balloons la. of course got ppl teachin us dere. den later we start making out own balloon. as in the design. like they teach us make heart shape and bear. so we make 2 bear, n stick together with the heart shape. so we put the balloon there, n take some n walk around asking ppl to buy. we are not allowed to enter the shopping centre. some ppl is at the stall selling the balloon, some walk ard sell balloon and lastly, got ppl walk around giv out flyer. everything that is sold, need to tell this person, and he will record it down.

you're so far the only part that i managed to see from you all enter ahsncc till date. most probably i will see you guys take over as well. in some way or another, you are the part that i've groomed nearly during the entire period, except when lewis took over when i was busy and on hiatus for half a year due to o's. but other than that, i did spend time with all of you during my term as both asm then and ci now. i see many changes in many of you, small or huge. some of you still need to work harder. this camp is just like the process of struggling out of the pupae in the life cycle of a butterfly. it is through this struggle that the wings of the butterfly are hardened and ready to fly, ready to brave through storms. i hope that you guys did learn a lot during this short but fruitful camp. from mryeow, from elton, from myself or from any instructors. remember my emphasis before anything else during the camp. ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE and CARE FOR FELLOW CADETS. think about it, how many times did i emphasize on this? why is it that important? take time to digest and understand. congratulations to all who have attained additional commendation during the camp. please do not get complacent simply because of this. no one is perfect, and if because of this, you are full of yourself and stay stagnant, soon, you will be the loser of all. and to those who did not get the awards, do not feel disheartened, all of you shine a different way, some shine more, some shine less. but most importantly, you still shine and the company needs you. just like the stars in the sky, some are shinier, some are smaller. but together, they form a beautiful starry night sky. every effort counts, it is just like having a good leader or helmsman, but with no good followers at all. can the good leader do everything very well? the answer is no. so remember what you have learnt and all the best for the upcoming projects! go for what you really yearn for, where your passion lies. of course, also consider your level of commitment and abilities but never ever belittle yourself. stick together as one part, i have told you all since dayone when i took you guys. i will feel different about you all from all other platoons, since i see you guys mature and grow from the very beginning. about 5 months or so, you guys are going to take over from the partCs already. it is just a mere 5 months and you are on your own, leading the company. are you ready? or do you want to be ready? in the meantime, train up yourself, in terms of fitness, studies, ncc knowledge, character, maturity etc. we will impart as much knowledge as we can to you guys and the rest is left into your own hands. remember, the choice is yours, to leave a legacy in ahsncc or to leave a bad name. all the best my dearest bravos!

Anyway, here are the details for your Platoon Bravo 2008 Drills Test before approval from Mr. Yeow. After approval, I will let you all know again.

Please take this seriously as it may count towards your Platoon Bravo Camp 2008. Disseminate this information to your platoon mates, make sure ALL OF THEM check out this post.

DATE: May/June 2008 (It's meant to be a surprise test during training)

this post is going to be about the upcoming orienteerin
basically its going to be a reminder of the things they taught on that day

What to do when you are lost...
1) Backtrack
- follow the route you originally took but in the opposite direction so that you could get back to your original position and maybe start taking another route
2) Locate prominent objects
- try to find prominent objects (objects that are still and are of significance) around you (that are on the map) so as to show yourself where you are at that time. Once you are clear of your location, you could start planning a route to get yourself back onto the original track
3) Find true north
- Rotate the compass round until the red needle points to north, which is indicated on your given compass. Then, align it with the north arrow your given map. Then you could start finding your way around

Stuffs to take note
- when encountering a dog, squat down and stare at it, at the same time backing off slowly
- when encountering bees, cover neck with poncho. Then lay on the ground, still and wait for them to go
- when encountering a boar, either take another route or wait for it to back off. When chased, run in zigzag directions. DO NOT CONFRONT IT!!!!
- if your partner is very tired, take a short break before continuing
- do not take dirt tracks, they might be dangerous
- if your partner is seriously injured or when your group is really lost, blow the whistle that you brought. help would arrive
- walk along the sides of the road, not at the centre
- stay with your partner at all times
- no communication between groups at all times.

what i want to say is since the first time i saw you all during the cheering sessions i had quite a good impression of you people which made me carry on to become a part a ps
for the past half a year i know i keep scolding u guys shit and almost every sentence has a shit word in it
some of you might find it insulting but hope you people don't take it to heart
i'm going to this year part a and so i know some of you might be happy very happy or anything
but for me the last half a year with you people has been rather enjoyable hope that it is the same for you guys
for your part b year do not see the trainings as tekan which many of you do
i know some of u think that the reasons are just for tekaning you all to make you all bond
but the fact is all the pumpings are meant to let u guys remember your mistake and bonding is what i wld say a sub product
the two changing parade you all have gone through was also to make u guys learn to help each other and change faster but sadly though the results were not very good
and i repeat again that tekan or teaching you all a lesson is not part of the purpose
likewise for the circuits and intensive pt
they are to test your endurance and bonding as a part and lesser about fitness
and for the circuit which i was very sadistic and assholic my main reason was to train your self restrain because i know many of you felt like whacking me
i hope that you guys can forgive me for all the unhappy incidents and remember only the happy ones.

Hi all,

How did you all find your performance yesterday? Good? For me, I think all of you did well. I hope that you all get the good feeling of satisfaction something like wad CSM Lewis said. The CCA showcase is finally over and all our hardwork has paid off. All your two months of effort will not go down the drain. Our performance will attract the new Sec 1s into joining NCC.

Maybe people has been talking bad about us to the Sec 1 about us "supposed" to do saikang and stuff. Actually, we all know in our hearts that we do it voluntarily. So, we don't really need to care about this ignorant people's stupidity and just do our best in everything we do.

I hope all of us will work hard to the new year academically and in NCC.

HEY everyone, never post for so long. For this saturday, there is no company run. So i want to organise something. BUT, not run. We will be goin to the gym on topof the tampines swimming complex. Towel is compulsory to bring. If dont have, you can buy from there.
Entrance fee = $1.50
Towel = $1.00

The gym open at 8.30am. So we will wait at Tampines MRT at 8.10am. Then we will make our way there slowly. Please eat breakfast before coming. Later someone faint how? For those who wants to eat breakfast at there, you can come earlier to eat. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE!!! Those who can go, please inform me. And everyone please try to go. As we need to raise our standard. Few more days to Part B. Happy??? When the Part A comes in. Please show at least some standard. We must improve on lots of things.

first i woke up at 6 in the mornin
then for some reason my parents woke up
and found that i was about to go out
i ofcos must say the truth wad
then they say bcos i leg injured
and the doctor insisted that i should not walk alot or move about too much
so i cant go
but as u said the organiser has to go no matter wad
so then we had a fight
then i had no choice but to go back to sleep
which i juz stayed awake on the bed
then later i told them i had to go
afterwhich they shouted and insistedc that i muz stay
so i went back
until like 6.50 plus i know u guys r already there
so i cant juz let u guys wait
i had to go
but then my parents said that if i went i dun haf to come back anymore

then when i went there everyone was gone

to the six ppl who came dis morning, really srry for wastin your precious time and makin u all wake up so early for nothin, really, i guess there won't be a next time anymore since the attendence is so low, really srry for wad had happened and all the inconveinence caused.
next time part A organises somthing, maybe a part chalet, outin or any other thing, pls do come, dun always the attendence always so low, like last time the wild wild wet outin also, not even 1/2 of the part came, so ya, in future be sure to support the Part's bonding activities, if your parents dun allow try to pursuade them or something, it is possible one, for me my parents only allow me come for the friday trainings, but somehow i managed to pursuade them to allowin me to come for almost every training

I remembered USM Nelson taught me a way to memorise the 7 core values of NCC

But, its pointless to memorise them when u dunno wad it means. So their explanations are as follows

Ok people,

Got two things to say
One is about wad happened today at bayonet training and the other is about this part a blog

As for today, a mishap happened during bayonet training. Dickson got hit in the eye and got quite a deep cut. But nobody wanted it to happen. Besides, Dickson is fine so Jun Liang dun blame urself already. Dun worry about him nt being able to see la...Silly guy... So, conclusion is I hope u all can take care of ur own safety, go thru the showcase...Like wad sergeant wymer said, we cant turn back now coz we already went thru alot of trainings le so jia you ba.

The next thing is about posting on part a blog. Please hor, this is OUR blog. See that big big our anot? It means that its our responsibility to keep this blog alive although my blog and this blog is pretty much dead. So maybe i hope u all can revive it, tag more post more. hey ppl there's a part A run this saturday and on all followin saturdays unless there's somethin on, so pls come, its is for the benefit of everyone as it is for u, there's not likely to be any company run lah so you all can come
here are some of the reasons y you should come
- train your leg muscles
- bond with the part even more
- no senior yelling at u
- can run own pace
- got ppl timin for yer so can set target
- strenghten the bond between us
- bond better
note that if there's no company run THERE WILL be part A run

and to all the bayo ppl if your pants got holes on it, pls dun worry that the seniors will count that as a mistake even though there's hair around it, i've asked yiyang already, and pls dun go burn the hole cause it will not (positively) only burn the excessive hair around it, but it will also (negatively) enlarge the whole, but if your pants got the extra pockets pls go sew it, otherwise wear your other no.4 pants during the company trainin, cause i not sure if our seniors will chen4 ji1 conduct UI and go open the extra pocket and count the hairs inside, anyway wymmer already said that we must go sew it if we have, so pls do

for the part A run, its not a must to go but it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

OBJECTIVES
To give pupils a quick introduction to the following:

MILITARY DEFENCE
National level — Plans, Policies, Programmes
At the national level, the Government is committed to spending up to 6% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on defence each year. Because of this, the SAF is able to equip and train itself to maintain its deterrent capability.
Individual level — Your attitudes, actions and responsibilities
At the individual level, the best way that males can contribute directly to Military Defence is by keeping fit so that when you enter National Service, you are able to keep up with the physical demands of your training. You also need to take your training seriously. The collective result will be a fighting-fit National Service armed forces.

CIVIL DEFENCE
NCE As Singapore has a small land area and is heavily built up, buildings are likely to get hit during a war or conflict. People could get hurt. Food, water and electrical supplies could also be cut off. Rescue work would be required. Life as we know it could come to a standstill if we are not able to respond. This is where Civil Defence comes in.
National level — Plans, Policies, Programmes
At the national level, Civil Defence provides for the safety and basic needs of Singaporeans during emergencies or wartime so that life can go on as normally as possible. Civil Defence goes hand-in-hand with Military Defence. Our soldiers will be able to fight better if they know that their loved ones are taken care of at home.
At the individual level, Singaporeans should know what to do during an emergency. It is important that Singaporeans participate actively in Civil Defence exercises, be it water/food rationing, bomb shelter or public warning systems exercises, so that we are prepared for any emergency.

ECONOMIC DEFENCE
National level — Plans, Policies, Programmes
At the national level, Economic Defence has two main dimensions:
􀂃 One, it involves developing emergency plans and organising ourselves in such a way that our economy does not break down in war. It means having enough stockpiles of essential items such as food and water. It also means having a system to mobilise and share resources between the private and public sectors. During an emergency, our offices and factories must be able to carry on even when men and equipment are mobilised.
􀂃 Two, our economy has to be strong enough to withstand external shocks. This means having sound economic policies, managing our finances wisely and having a well-trained labour force.
Individual level — Your attitudes, actions and responsibilities
At the individual dimension, Economic Defence means lifelong learning and continual skills upgrading. In this rapidly changing world, we need to constantly update ourselves with new skills and knowledge. This is something all of you can do – equip yourselves with the relevant skills and knowledge throughout your lives. It will go a long way towards strengthening our
Economic Defence.

SOCIAL DEFENCE
National level — Plans, Policies, Programmes
Social Defence is about Singaporeans of all races and religions living and working together in harmony. We will be able to do so if we practise racial and religious tolerance, provide opportunities for all regardless of their race, language or religion, and help the less fortunate
Individual level — Your attitudes, actions and responsibilities
Social Defence at the individual level means showing tolerance and respect for other races, cultures, religions and lifestyles. In our daily lives, we should make time to learn about the foods, costumes, cultures and heritage of the different races in Singapore. As we progress in life, we must never forget our social responsibilities –

PSYCHOLOGICAL DEFENCE
National level — Plans, Policies, Programmes
Some say Psychological Defence is the most important, but also the most difficult to promote. It is about our loyalty and commitment to our country, and our confidence in Singapore’s future. Only when Singaporeans
stay united can we have the will to stand up for our rights and defend what is ours.
We have to strengthen our “heartware” so that we have a stronger sense of attachment and belonging to our home. That is why we have National Education in our schools and other nation-building efforts (such as promoting our national symbols, national songs and National Day celebrations).
Individual level — Your attitudes, actions and responsibilities
There is no magic formula to strengthening our Psychological Defence. It is an ongoing process that will take time. We are after all still a young nation. However, we should feel proud of being a Singaporean by knowing our history, and how we have managed to overcome the odds to be where we are today.

by todae, u all shld hav gotten back all exams paper, dun be sad if it is nt well done, cause like wad my form tcher,mr khoo, sae sec1 is a tough yr as it is diff to adjust frm 4 subjects to 10 subjects all of a sudden.nw dat u all know wad sec sch life is, we shld prepare ourselves for nxt yr.

Ok....Part A. In a few months time, U will be promoted to Part B but because of the exams, there are not much trainings left.
Honestly, Ur drills and discipline are still far from being a Part B. U wanna know wats the standard, U can ask ur seniors. From today's training, I and perhaps Wymer and Yi Yang all sian of scolding u all liao...We scold U and U all correct ur mistakes, is still ok. Now is that we scold u, but u all just diam diam and show no improvement. Ask u to shout, dun wanna shout. Ask u to stop dragging ur boots, U all drag somemore. Simple basics to lock ur arms, still swing around.We have no idea wat exactly wat u all wan, its like coming to training but the spirit is not there.
Let me tell u all first. U all want fun, can. Show us the standard we want. But currently the situation u all in, its a long way to go.And for all those who like to report sick or dun push to the end, let me tell u something. For all those PS and CSMs standing infront of u, they dun report sick or should i say NEVER report sick. Take me for example, I am proud to tell people that I have NEVER reported sick of more than 2 times since I was a Part A until now. I hope u can next time tell ur juniors this too. Just a sentence maybe to help u,

"Push urself, even when u feel like when ur dying, till then u will realise ur true limits and potential."

U will feel a strong sense of sastifaction and achievement if u all are able to endure thru those that most of ur platoon mates are unable of. AND remember to answer confidently. If have say say, if no say no =.=. simple. Jia you for next training. Cheers. 6,7,5,4,3,2,1~!

ok drills first
generally the drills are alright but the thing is that as shown in the video i posted the alignment is not very good so for those who have not watched the video please watch it for those who watched it ask others to watch
if u all don't understand what i want to show you all in the video feel free to leave a tag or ask me or your other sergeants through any other methods anytime

next studies
so i shall note state all the crap about what studies very important because i think u guys know what i will say
so the thing here is i juz found out that the results would not be seen only as a whole by classes but by CCAs too
for example when anyone gets a prize like first in level?
they will not announce bla frm class bla but instead is bla frm some cca
obviously u guys wun want people to laugh at us saying we are retards that cant study but pump all day
so please try to attain results at least above average
if u guys have any problems on studies feel free to find any of us
i don't think sec 1 work would be anywhere near difficult for us
for how high you should aim mr chua used to give us a rough standard its like

you guys are supposed to attain a mark within this range

not supposed to be in this range needs more hardwork

i know its pointless for us to point out your mistakes all the time when you cant see or dun understand what we are talking about so i am posting some videos i took today to let u all know your mistakes and try to prevent it

this one shows the pivoting thing and alignment
as u can see the first few do pivot on the spot but the back few turn abit too early and some too fast forgetting about the pivot thing...
also when you guys belok you all did not align

as u guys can see brandin is not aligned to whoever is beside hime and during the belok he is rather not aligned
it is not actually his fault but the pivoting guys pivoting pace is irregular causing him to be unable to catch up at the back part

Hello Part A! I think its a long time since i posted...

Today part a we had intensive pt (Ironman). We did really well as a part la so can give ourselves a clap and a tap on our shoulders for trying all our best to endure.. But this does not mean we can slack hor. The right attitude is treat this as a benchmark u all created for urselves, meaning we should not do anything worse than today's training.. For those who think they didnt do well, try to improve but set realistic goals... Ironman is not all about trying to look for the fittest but to bond us together as a part... Next time we can help each other when pumping eg. person beside you dun wanna report sick but no strength then help him come up...During run then encourage one another la...

Second topic is drills...
Few common mistakes we make:
1) Never lock hands when marching (So lock them)
2) Dragging boots! (So dun drag)
3) Never align with right marker ( So align)

Last thing is try your best not to report sick and if needa pump alot as in 100k then maybe we shld start reporting sick or something to spare our platoon mates from dying horribly...

As for boots, anyone took a pair of size 7 boots when u dun wear size 7? If you do please exchange with Xiong Zhi!!!
